These terms are between you and the independent owner-operator of Merji in Saudi Arabia. Merji lets you save screenshots/photos and public links, automatically extract information, organize Sources and Discoveries, and find library entries using the words you search for. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Your permission for content processing is requested where required.
You must be legally capable of accepting these terms; a person below the age of majority needs guardian approval. Keep your credentials confidential, provide accurate information, and report suspected unauthorized use to [email protected]. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
You keep your rights in content you save and grant Merji a limited licence to store and process it only to provide the service. Choosing Save instructs Merji to process that Source and any optional note for extraction and, where applicable, transcription using the processors described in the Privacy Notice. If you do not want a Source processed this way, do not save it. You confirm that you may lawfully access and save the content for personal use, and that you will not save unlawful, infringing, or harmful material or another person’s sensitive data unless you have lawful authority.
Do not access another user’s data; bypass security, verification, purchase, or rate controls; overload or disrupt the service; create automated accounts; build mass collection or downloading systems; resell the service; or obtain referral/credit rewards fraudulently. Merji may reverse fraudulent rewards and suspend material abuse.
Some captures consume one credit. Free/referral credits have no cash value and are non-transferable. Paid credit packs are consumable In-App Purchases processed by Apple; Prices, currency, and applicable taxes are displayed through Apple's store. Purchased credits do not expire and remain attached to your Merji account across devices. Your balance is stored in your Merji account; consumed packs are not restored separately through App Store purchase restoration.
Refund requests are handled by Apple through Report a Problem. If Apple refunds a purchase, Merji may revoke the credits associated with that purchase and adjust your credit balance accordingly, subject to applicable law. Your statutory refund rights are unaffected. Merji automatically returns a capture credit when its own terminal processing failure or defined unreadable-media case qualifies. Minimal transaction/refund records may remain after account deletion as described in the Privacy Notice.
Extraction, transcription, categorization, and place detection can be incomplete or wrong. Output is for personal recall and is not legal, medical, financial, travel-safety, or other professional advice. Verify important facts before relying on them.
Public posts remain the property of their creators and rights holders. Merji processes only the Source you choose to save, keeps no customer-facing video download, and grants you no new rights in that content. Your use must also comply with the terms and rights that apply to the source and Apple App Store.
Apple is not a party to these terms, has no duty to provide Merji support or maintenance, and is not responsible for claims about the app except as applicable law or App Store terms require. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it.
You may export your data or permanently delete your account in Settings. We may suspend an account for a material breach, with notice where practicable. If the service is discontinued, we will use reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and an export period.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” except for rights that cannot be excluded. To the maximum extent Saudi law permits, Merji is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, third-party content, or events outside reasonable control; total liability in a 12-month period is limited to what you paid for the service in that period. Nothing excludes fraud, gross negligence, PDPL duties, or mandatory consumer rights.
Saudi Arabian law governs these terms and competent Saudi courts and committees have jurisdiction. Material changes receive a new version/effective date and an in-app review. If you do not accept, stop using Merji; you may export your data and delete your account. Contact [email protected].
